Registration opens Thursday, January 2 at 10 AM.
Calling all homeschoolers! Join us for a special mid-school year Junior Archaeology Camp session!
During this four day camp, participants will learn about archaeology, the role it plays in history, and speak to professionals in the field! Campers will learn from a variety of hands-on activities and games.
Camp is open to children ages 6 - 9 years old and, will take place at the Lake Jackson Historical Museum Tuesday, February 25 - Friday, February 28 from 10 AM - 12 PM.
Throughout the week we will cover several TEKS for grades associated with this age group. These include:
K.6A, K.13B, K.13C, K.13D
1.4A, 1.16B, 1.16D, 1.17E, 1.18B
2.15B, 2.15C, 2.16B, 2.16D
3.15A, 3.15B, 3.15C
Registration Fee:
LJHA Members: $45
