Color the Lights

Color the Lights 2024 has officially BEGUN! Children ages 3-14 years of age are invited to participate! Continue reading to learn how to enter and where/how voting will happen.

 

1. The competition is split into two age groups in order to give everyone a fair shot at winning. The age groups are 3-8 and 9-14. Each age group has TWO coloring page options. Children will pick their favorite and color it using the materials of their choice.

 

2. After coloring, write the child's name and age on the back along with their parent/guardian's phone number and email address.

 

3. Turn completed coloring sheets into the Lake Jackson Historical Museum during normal business hours no later than 4 PM on Saturday, December 7.

 

4. Voting will take place on LJHA's Facebook page between Monday, December 9 and Friday, December 13. We will upload scans of each submission to be posted at noon on Monday, December 9. Each like/reaction counts as 1 vote. While comments are welcome, they do NOT count as votes.

 

5. Voting will close at noon on Friday, December 13 and winners will be contacted using the phone numbers and email address provided.

 

To get a copy of the coloring sheets you may download and print your favorite from this page, or pick up a hard copy in the Activity Center at the Lake Jackson Historical Museum. Good luck everyone!
